Four Things
Just a thought from 25 January 2006 about .

I blame Storey.

Four jobs I've had

  1. Collator. I assembled books made from Xeroxed copies by walking around a table picking up pages one by one, and then passing the stacks on to the binder. I always wanted to be the binder.
  2. Tape duplicator. Put the master tape in one spot. Put a dozen blanks in the other spots. Hit go. Flip them all over 10 minutes later. Repeat.
  3. Pizza cook. Remind me to tell you the story about going horse riding wearing the same sneakers I wore at work. Horses love red sauce.
  4. Driver. When my best friend's dad became so incapacitated with MS he couldn't drive anymore, I drove him around in his van listening to his stories. I learned more from this job than just about any other.

Four movies I can watch over and over

  1. The Fifth Element
  2. Fight Club
  3. Rushmore
  4. Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back

Four places I've lived

  1. A house I don't remember, Memphis, TN.
  2. A model home in a former lemon grove, Claremont, CA.
  3. A duplex one block from the beach with a series of mentally unstable housemates, Santa Cruz, CA.
  4. A 100 year-old Victorian apartment building across the street from the projects, San Francisco, CA.

Four TV shows I love

  1. Harvey Birdman
  2. Battlestar Galactica (the new one, natch)
  3. Deadwood
  4. The Daily Show with Jon Stewart

Four places I've vacationed

  1. Cinque Terra, Italy
  2. Amsterdam, Netherlands
  3. Paris, France
  4. Paris Hotel, Las Vegas

Four of my favorite dishes

  1. Super Veggie Burrito, Puerto Alegre in the Mission District, San Francisco.
  2. Eggs New York (with bagel and cream cheese), Zazie in Cole Valley, San Francisco.
  3. Sicilian Pizza, Marcellos in the Castro, San Francisco.
  4. The eggs I make for me and Heather on a Sunday morning, Cole Valley, San Francisco.

Four sites I visit daily

  1. Heather
  2. Another Heather
  3. Uncrate
  4. Aurgasm

Four places I would rather be right now

  1. Paris with Heather
  2. Italy with Heather
  3. Anywhere I've never been with Heather
  4. Anywhere with Heather

Four bloggers people I am tagging

  1. Heather
  2. Another Heather
  3. Andre Torrez
  4. Diesel Sweeties

Wha?
This section is called Just a Thought. It's a blog where I post little pieces of what I'm thinking about at the moment. This page is an individual entry called “Four Things” that I wrote on 25 January 2006.

Before this, I wrote a little something called “Bring on the Ego Charting!” on 17 January 2006. After this, I wrote “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” on 4 February 2006.
